Welcome to the ODU Women's Center website and thank you for visiting! The Women's Center, established in 1976, offers programs and services to address the special challenges and opportunities women students encounter related to their personal and academic success. Our mission also includes promoting healthy relationships and a safe and equitable environment that is free of barriers to all persons. The Women's Center programs and services seek to empower all students to achieve their personal, academic, and professional potential.

We just celebrated our 30-year anniversary and the Women's Center is still working hard to improve the status of women - on our campus, in our community, in our country, and around the world. We are continually working to improve the climate in which women live, work, and learn through our programs and services.

I hope you will join us this year as we work toward our ultimate goal of freedom for all people! Please stop by the Women's Center and get acquainted with our staff and resources. We look forward to seeing you!
